Kelly & I are going to Scotland for a few days – perhaps leaving on Thursday. The former has some friends whom so wants me to meet. I cannot be bothered telling my friends I'm here, - they all asked so many questions & I can't be bothered – it is finally ended that little affair of mine & I'm jolly glad now I know. Received a letter from his O.C. saying he is quite well & in the Battalion. Why he has behaved in this manner I cannot understand – but I shall never trouble him again & am done with the whole d-
Lot.

Anyhow I'm very happy & have plenty of interest in life to keep me busy. Hope to write a long newsy letter in a few days time. Hope I wrote to dear old Annie Thomas, thanking her for the soap, if not tell her I'm
