Back to December 28th 1916. So the news is somewhat old when it reaches me. Still we get some interesting reading out of it.

So glad Eddy is growing stronger, poor wee chappie must have been very ill.

Do you see or hear anything of Nurse Ferguson? Give her my love & tell I shall write to her now I'm on day-duty. Received two letters from Miss Dixon (Thomas friend) so answered the second. She belong to B.E.F. but would like to join the A.I.F.

Young Cutherbson (Charlie's friend) often comes for Tennis
