My dearest Mother & Sisters.,

Saw Matron-in-Chief on Thursday morning & she told me I was not leaving until January. So perhaps it will be February & I shall get to Aust. about April. Anyhow 'm very comfortable at present & like the work here but it is a rest after the work I've had.

No letters this week from home, hope to get some before Xmas. Yesterday I had a Day-off. Stayed in bed until 11. a.m. dressed & had an early lunch, then caught the train for Paddington. Met Sister O'Dwyer & Mrs Milne ( Sister Wyse) at Adelphi Theatre at 2.p.m. We had lovely seats, the house was
