I wonder if Fred arrived in time to see her. He was very fond of her. It is really sad for a young woman who has everything to live for, is suddenly cut off.

I've met a Miss M. Fraser, an old Sth Melb. Presby who lives in London. An awfully nice woman. Had afternoon tea with her on Tuesday. She has a flat at Hyde Park.

Yesterday (Friday) went to Southwell Gardens & had afternoon tea, quite a number of my friends are there.

Myra's husband is over on leave, so Ida O'Dwyer & I are going to have dinner with them to-morrow.
