Sunday 21 January 1917 [1918]½ day and went town with S. Richardson & bought cakes etc. for Sakhara side – then 4 p.m. tea with the Maddens very nice home & 4 white children present.Church 6 p.m., All Saints & filled as usual with soldiers. Mr. Holan did not preach but good sermon from someone else on dangers to these boys in Cairo.At 9 a.m. had camera in ward & took snaps of our departing boys for Blighty & C. Grant as well.
