My Dear Sir

I have received yours by the Pitt, & hope it will not be long before I have the pleasure of seeing you & thanking you for all your friendly letters.

As you will see our friend Nepean, I shall say nothing of this Country that I think he can tell you, & indeed I now want both time & health to write a long letter, for the Pitt is ready to sail, & my complaint seldom leaves me lately, for more than a few days.
