Received orders to proceed to line and attack, Battn moved up to get into position.
Wednesday 28/2/17
Attack timed for 3 am with artillery postponed owing to guides losing themselves – Battn returned to Acid Drop Camp, men very tired.
Thursday 1/3/17
Orders received to have another attempt with artillery preparation, all arrangements made and Bn got up well early.
