The result is satisfactory, especially if you take into account that the prices we are paid by the wholesalers have come down as a consequence of the increased competition. The regular workout with hoe and shovel is enjoyable and quite good for my health. The profit from the garden would have been even bigger had it not been for a major flood in the 2nd month. We had non-stop tropical rain for 4 days, which made the reservoir overflow. The drains we had built weren't big enough for the huge amount of overflow and the water flooded a large part of the garden shortly after sowing. So we had to start more or less from scratch, braving all the pessimists. The result in the end has proved us, and our determination, right.</p>
