or a new species. I observed it growing in a ladys window in Thenerife who brought it from Old Spain. She called it un Paxarita (a little bird) from fancying its flowers having some resemblance to a flying bird. It is very elegant in a Window where it may be trained upon a little lattis work & where it will give aboundance flowers. I should be glad to know if there are any new Genera amongst the Canary plants.
I am under great anxiety for the delays that I have met with here, no vessels has touched here since My return from the Canaries, that were bound to the windward Islands. We have had only one pacquet who only passed the road and sent the mail a shore by a boat. I am however ready to embrace the first opportunity and at the shortest notice.
