Dear Sir
I am happy to have it in my power to give you a very satisfactory account of a long interview I had yesterday with Mr Stephens. In the first place he informed me that he was authorized to assure me that Ld Keppel meant to carry on the scheme of the publication entirely according to the plan I had intended to pursue, and that any intimation that reached him of anything that you or I approved, would meet with his full support.
