My dear Judge,
As part of my leave I have spent 2 days in Oxford. Today I have thoroughly enjoyed myself. I went (with Roberts) round all the available colleges and saw everything in Oxford worth seeing. Most of the colleges are partly taken over for military purposes (OrielII think was the one exception). We were particularly impressed with Magdalene and Oreil. Christchurch was closed.
This afternoon we went down to the river and inspected all the college barges and the O.U.B.C. You can imagine
