The great advantage that the Colonial Schooner sent out in [indecipherable] in 1791 has been of to Government, has been so obvious as to signal her present rotten state being almost unfit for any other service. The Construction of Capt Schanks Vessell the Lady Nelson offers very good substitute for this Vessell - her burthen being almost sixty tons, her little draught of water, facility in berthing, & her other Qualities marks her a very desirable vessell for the Service of that Colony, either for surveying the Coasts or going many voyages among the Islands.
