in the Rental for 1758 the year after Roughton was Purchasd & the first year when the manor of Roughton appears in the Enumarations of monies at the head of the Rental Moreham on the hill also appears among them

I Find by an Old deputation 1761 that my Father stil'd himself in it Lord of the manor of Moreham Super

How he Came to be so I can not yet discover Oct 1797 when I for the first time observd that Mr. Turner of Preston has Registerd a deputation for it which he did for the first time in 1795.
