Henry duke of Suffolk & the Lord Charles his brother died of the sweat both in one bed July 16 at the Bishop of Lincolns house at Buckden Where They had retird from Cambridge to beard the sickness - They were the only male Issue of Charles duke of Somerset & his second wife Catharine

The Marquis of Dorset having married the half-sister of these noblemen was in October invested with the Title of the Dukedome & the Estate was divided among many heirs for May 6th 1552  a Special Livery was granted by The Treasurer to Sir Richd Candish Kt   Sir Wm Sidney Kt   Thos Lovel Esqr.  Christine darnel widow Walter Aiscough Esqr & Elizabeth his wife Coheirs of the Late Duke of Suffolk & the Lord Charles Brandon to Enter into their purpartie  of all the Land of the Said Duke & Lord
