Spalding & Petersborough we have traveld all day through either over Banks like Crowland Bank or through rows of willow trees like the Drives with rich crops of Rape & Engines on each side of us the towns I can say less of them the country they appear to be clean & the houses are almost all windows
Our journey has been from Helvertsluys to the  Brill from thence to Maasland Huys Delft & here tomorrow will probably produce new events & as I shall not have time to keep a Journal will with a few days bring you a letter in Lieu thereof
My love & duty to my mother & Uncle from your sleepy & affectionate Brother
