This young man has been educated in this city and finish'd his fourth Session at the Medical and Philosophical classes under my immediate instruction.
You may be sure, that Natural History was not neglected, so far as it is taught here or by Books Mr W has been instructed. In Botany he has attained more Proficency, he is well acquainted with all the Plants of this country and present labouring hard with cryptogamia Ferns, Lichens and Mosses.
You who have been there know best what is worthy of attention, and what you wish our Voyagers to bring you. What authors should be consulted. What Books of Science to be carried with them. I beg your answer in a few Posts, and have the Honr to be with the greatest respect
