The Secretaries of our Society tell me they have Materialls [materials] nearly for a 3d Vol of Transactions so that it may come out in a Twelvemonths time.
I have seen the new Edition of Browne and the Linnaen Index. This last is defective and had I been in the way I could have help'd the Editor. I have almost a complete Index to Sloan and Browne of my own, and have added and filled up a great many Names to the Index for Plukenet.
There is a fine Tree of our Picrania in the Botanic Garden from seeds I formerly sent. The Brucia has long flowered here but it is only a male Plant. It seems nearly allied to
