is very strong, and I flatter myself The faculty at Vienna will find in it, a powerfull [powerful] Antisceptic [antiseptic] & febrifuge Medicine  It is become in general use in this side of the Country, and the Practitioners are fonder of it, than the Bark of the Shops.

I have a fine Plot of the Senna Italica coming on here, and shall take some pains to dry the Leaves properly.  Shall be happy if you can procure me the Seeds of the Alexandrian, a few of them Gumm'd on the inside of Your Letter will come safe.  I have rumaged the Senna Drawers of many shops, but the seeds did not Vegetate.

Dr and Mrs. Steel are happy the lCassada came safe and was acceptable, but tho [though] you alledge it is good, I respect it will not keep long.  I shall probably forward some more by and by.

As my private affairs cannot be adjusted time enough to sail in the season I shall take the opportunity of a 10 Months longer stay to visit most places in Jamaica, and be very much in and at your Service.
