Calcutta 25th April 1795

Dear Sir

I have it not in my power to  refer to your kind letter by the Royal Admiral, as I am now from home on account of bad health, to which I have been more or less afflicted with ever since I left the Coast, but more so far these last two or three months, however I am again a little better, and just able to write you by this conveyance, should my health be restored I shall remain here, if it is not, I mean to request permission to go the length of the Cape of Good Hope to try what effect the change may have.

With this you have a list of the plants going on the Royal Admiral under the care of Mr Good for the Royal Gardens at Kew, it
