Mr. Pearce presents his respectful compliments to Sir Joseph Banks and will be much obliged to him for information whether the Salaries are to stand agreeably to the Statement enclosed.  If Sir Joseph can add the Christian Name of Mr. Daniel he will be further obliged.  He also will thank him for information whether the Astronomer, tho' appointed by the
