As soon as I can get Water & Wood which I hope a week will accomplish I shall sail.-

The West Monsoon alarms me much but I hope it will not set in while I remain here.-

The Opportunity I now have is by a Dutch Snow bound to Batavia. I therefore consider it uncertain that you will receive this before I can give you more satisfactory information.-

Thus far my Dear Sir My Admiralty account runs - I look now to a colder climate to restore me to health for at present the heat has such an effect upon a Nervous disease brought on by great anxiety and care, that at times I think I shall not get theĀ  better of it - Yet I trust after all that I have done I shall once see you to prove I have accomplished every thing that could be expected and to give you Joy of the Plants being safe landed at Jamaica. They are now in a healthy state & I shall get what I can at this Place - My Eyes are so inflamed it distresses me to write I hope however the general account I have now given to you will give you pleasure till I can do more. - I have yet not been able to make a Copy of my Surveys.

I shall ever remain my Dear Sir
with great regard your affectionate
Hnble Servt
Wm Bligh

Pray remember me to my poor little family.
