of trouble of getting thus far, and do not expect to see the Admiral until the Voyage & Expedition is accomplished which I apprehend is to take Elsinour [Elsinore] and the command of the Baltic, however, I seal up this letter with a hope of getting some opportunity to send it to you.  I do not like my ship, as she has nothing to recommend her as a Man of War, but her great shot.  Captain Stephens who I believe, and all the fleet, he tells me, were astonished to hear I was to command her, but we will do our part very well I have no doubt, & I trust will not keep her long.
