never ventured to say a word to Lord Moira in allusion to the letter you honored me with; - Indeed Conversations with his Lordship have induced me to believe it is his Lordships wish to Employ me in the way of my profession - and I have no doubt I shall yet benefit by the influence which the letter you were pleased to honor me with, - with some two or three others, - have created in my favor.
It is my intention to Commit this letter - and Dr. Wallich's Paper - to the Care of Captain Graham who Commands the H.C.S. William Pit - I shall beg he will forward the letter by Post - and wait a favorable opportunity to deliver the Roll.
Permit me to make an Offer of respects to Lady Banks - and Mrs. Banks. - It will afford me infinite pleasure to hear you continue in the Enjoyment of good Spirits and free from any serious attacks of Gout - I have made no rambling Excursions since I arrived, consequently have no New Subjects to Offer - and to add interest to my Correspondence - but I have a gratification being permitted - to subscribe myself with gratitude and respect
Dear Sir Joseph - your faithful
and Obedient Servant
