Dear Sir
I have but a very few moments which I can employ in presenting you with my best respects & sincere wishes for your health - The Ship which conveys this to Bengal arrived here unintentionally from Port Jackson; & tantalised us with the news of Letters &c being lying for us at P. Jackson - As she sails immediately & I have much to do - I shall only observe that the Master of the Ship has let me run over Hunters publication, however Indifferent I was to my Journal being published, I now feel the weight of the Obligation I lye under to you & Mr Stephen, to whom I request you will communicate my Gratefull Thanks, it certainly carries as Much Truth with it as it was wrote with no other design than to serve as future Minutes -
Mr Nepean will if he thinks proper give you more information on this
