we were obliged to be at an extraordinary expence in putting a pendant to each medal wch we shall not charge to you

I have some few things in hand for Wm Zoffany which cannot be deliverd in London in less than 9 days from this date It wd oblige me much to be informd when you think you shall possitivly go on board. If I should send you any other trifles that I may think suitable & you should not think 'em so pray return 'em to our Agent Wm. Matthew. No14 Cannon Street

I will tomorrow perform my promise to Dr Solander & shall also send the Copal Varnish I promised WmZoffany
