Sir
I trouble you with this Letter to acquaint you that the Order for the removal of Mary Rose the Girl confined in our Goal is arrived & that I propose sending her off on Monday or Tuesday next -  as I promised to make a subscription for her in order to furnish her with a little Pocket Money which I will certainly do and as you was kind enough to say you would do something for her in that way I thought it right to inform you how near she was to her departure -.  The Dean who I intended to apply to on the same Account has left us & therefore I fear she will loose the benefit of his charitable disposition unless you shod  have an opportunity of seeing him -. Whatever the Poor Girl has given her I dare say she will be very thankfull for but as she will not stop in London I am afraid she will not come in for your Donation unless you will suffer me to lay it down for you which I will do with the greatest pleasure upon receiving your instructions - I trust you will have the goodness to excuse the liberty I am taking as it is really an Act of Charity & believe me to be Sir
Your most ob.t Hble Servt
J.T. Bell
