I understand that these Ships met with bad weather, and had long passages to England.

Captain Rowley commanding H.M. Ship Imperieuse, will sail from hence tomorrow for the Cape of Good Hope.  He has been so kind as to take charge of two Boxes containing Clove and Nutmeg plants, as per list accompanying.

These plants are well established in the Boxes, and it will give me much Satisfaction to hear of their arrival Safe at Kew.

I am happy to hear that everything goes well in England in the way of Botany
