Dear Mr Brewer
A letter written by you but not dated arrived at the Batt. about two weeks ago while I was on leave - As regards the packet - as far back as November. I had it registered and sent to England to you. Lieutenant Cameron took charge of it and had it sent to the address you sent. I will make further enquiries at the 20th Batt. P.O. re [Source?]
I feel very very sorry to learn that this packet has not come to you yet but hope that it will soon.
