Sunday 7 September 1919
Much milder again. Read a lot & played two or three games. Colonel told O.C. companies today that there must not be any noise on deck till after 5 pm. that the 'subs must keep away from the fire & that cigarettes & matches must not thrown on the floor.

Monday 8 September 1919
Not so windy today. When playing with a life belt we threw it overboard. It is only about our fifth. Hurt my finger.
