Saturday 24 May 1919
Went to Reading with Bill. Had lunch there. Went to the River. Met Ada Warwick & went on the river. She is now engaged to a Canadian. Got a touch of the sun & feel very seedy. Have a beautiful headache.

Sunday 25 May 1919
Our Epsom trip is off cos Marie's father has arrived. He's here for two or three days. Am pleased its off cos I feel very seedy. Wrote 8 letters mostly to Aussie. Went out to Maries for tea. Had something to eat here at the flat for lunch. Met Mr Fraser. We went to Westminister & then to Kings Cross. Then back to the flat for supper. Came home early. Rained part of the day.
