Tuesday 7 September 1920
We find dead sheep
Look around the yard & attend on the motor etc. Uncle Charlie & I go around the hills after the Cattle in the rain. I gallop home. We go to Dance at 9pm. We pick up Miss Crawford. I meet up with Townsend. I dance all but fox-trot & dance most with Rose. We all get on stage at Sup.Time first we motor home very comfortably just after one
Wednesday 8 September 1920
Music in morning
uncle charlie and I go after cattle again. Melba gallops and throws me off. trys to rub me off against tree and jumps ditch. I am very sore and get cramps after 2nd gallop. Home and go to tea at Little Bel [indecipherable] Iplay nearly all night R [indecipherable] a beautiful touch . T catches the ewes & feeds the lambs. I am strong as a lion & R & he have arms & legs like bullocks
