Friday 24 November 1916
All hands saddled up and left camp about 11-30. Rode out due east for about eight miles.
Got to camp after dark. Very cold at night.

Saturday 25 November 1916
Up early and rode on all day to somewhere near Mazar and South of Rail Head. Allinson "looped the loop" down sand bank with his pony. Jolly cold at night.
