Done high speed this morning, going a zig zag course. A Destroyer came out & escorted us into Devonport. Passed Eddystone lighthouse. Arrived & tied up alongside one of dockyard piers at 1 pm.

All ships company went on 21 days leaf. Party of sailors off the Essex looking after Melbourne while we are away. Came up to London. Arrived in London &
