Sydney 5th April 1817 —
My very dear Friend:–
I enclose two letters from Mrs Palmer which she
will thank to put a wafer in on your arrival in London.
The one address'd to Mrs Pemberton is Mrs P's Mother, for
whom the broach is which she gave you,– The other I will
thank you after sealing to put into a general Post Office
and it will then find it's [sic] way to it's [sic] destination.–
I shall be very happy to hear of your safe arrival
and I trust, when you think of the Friends you
may have left in this Part of the Word you will
not forget me, and I may add Mrs Palmer.
Believe me you possess our [natural?] good
wishes and esteem. I sincerely hope your object in
England will be attained both as to the happiness of
your temporal and eternal affairs, whatever it may be.
and
I am
My dear Thomas
Most sincerely Your's
[Signed] Geo. Tho. Palmer
