The first Peer that stored his Garden with Exotick plants was William Earle of Salisbury at his Garden at ----- a Catalogue whereof fairly writ in a skinne of Velum consisting of 830 plants is in the hands of Elias Ashmole Esq at S. Lambeth.  The appendix consists but of these few

Siliguo - pruniissa              Cerasus uno pediculo plura
[indecipherable] prunium   Cerasus beliga
Violo prunium                     Pergicra [inola?]
[Danexs?] prunicus            subra

Above the Catalogue is printed his Lordships crest, on each side of which are writ these following verses
