Question 3rd. put - At the Cape of Good Hope the man I had appropriated to me for a Yeoman was mostly on shore attending the washing and corroberates the former Evidence respecting James Allen being lent as also the Testimony of Mr Lye and Mr Calver respecting the Armourer being lent at the Cape of Good Hope.
Question 4th. put
Answer - I do not recollect their having been read excepting last Sunday.
Question - What Officers Commissions have you heard read.
Answer - I do not recollect any Commissions being read but Captain Blighs which was read at Sea. Captn Shorts' was also read at the same time.
Question 5th. - he corroberates Mr Calver in that respect.
Question 6th. put - But cannot recollect he has.
Question 7th. put - Alercations so often happen between the Captain and Officers that he cannot charge his memory with anything particular.
