amiable wife, and my tender and darling infants are reduced by the veriest miscreants, in existence, surely cannot fail to interest His Majesty's Ministers in their behalf particularly as I am apprehensive with great reason that an attempt might be made on my life.  To you Sir as their Advocate, and to the justice, and magnanimity of His Majesty's Ministers, I commit them in the hour of their most unheard of calamities and apprehensions oppressions. I fondly flatter myself that our great and benificent King would (if I was to lose my life through the villainy of our enemies) upon proper Application consider them worthy and deserving His royal protection, and consideration should I not have an opportunity of having the honor, and satisfaction of a personal interview with you before your departure from this ill fated country.  I now, Sir, take my Leave of you and beg your acceptance of my sincerest thanks and acknowledgements for the great kindness and attention you have
