Situation is a new one in the Service, I hope from my different statements to my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty (which I declare on my Honor has been and shall be without any rancour or Ill will) no other Officer will ever be placed in.  Your having alluded to my Family in the latter part of your Letter will I hope plead my excuse for answering it in this, and shortly to say that I consider an Officer who would neglect his duty to serve his private Interest; is no longer worthy to hold a Commission in His Majesty's Service.
