The Admiral Gambier Harrisson, Master, saild from Port Jackson on the 27 day of March carrying away in her John McArthur Esqr,  Major Johnston, John Harris Surgeon of the New South Wales Corps, Thomas Jamison principal Surgeon of the colony & Walter Stephenson Davidson, persons, who had been particularly named in the Governors Proclamation, though Harrisson had a copy of it.

When Govr Bligh arrivd at the Derwent, Lt  Govr Collins receivd him with due honours, as Captain General & Governor in Chief, gave him his own residence & provided for himself another lodging, but the ship Oolus Addy, Master, which saild from Port Jackson on the 1 day of April carried to the Derwent the Sydney Gazette containing Lt Govr Patersons counter Proclamation: for soon after Mr Palmer dispersed the Government Proclamation, Paterson publishd one charging all manner of persons not to correspond with Govr Bligh, or any person on board his Majestys ship Porpoise belonging to Govr Bligh or in his confidence.  This Proclamation was read publicly in the Church of Hobart town on the Derwent by the Revd R Knopwood accompanied by a general order of Collins to enforce it.  As Govr Bligh slept every night in his ship, & was prevented by a pain in some part of his foot from coming ashore for some days, Lt Govr Collins came to him, & invited him ashore; but on his remaining still longer, Collins wrote to him, saying he could have no further communication with him in this country.  Notwithstanding this proceeding of Paterson & Collins, I & some others have kept up a regular correspondence with him every opportunity.  He remains on board his Majestys ship Porpoise near the entrance of the River Derwent 15 miles from Hobart Town, determind through much inconvenience & distress to wait for succours from England that he may perform the duty assigned him by his sovereign.
