February, 1915Friday 5Yesterday went to Pompie Pillar & the Sphinx & then on to Catatombs passing Natives quarters where incerinator buried up the dead on one side of street & Baker cooks on the other – Afterwards to the museum to see Mummies from the different Tombs – 5000 years or more!!! old 3 Trains today for Cairo.Off in March we hear for France – only hope it is true.At 1 A.M. more tired & colder than ever.
