Left Beitin in the rain I have never been so cold for a long time 4 Niggers died, however we moved on to a Russian Monastery which the Germans had used for their head quarters- we were thankful to get under a roof & bought Charcoal from the natives & got fires going - X Laura writes my August Notes you sent had been heavily censored so in future please if sending to England run a pen thro' any incriminating X
