2 July 1918 TuesdayGot well strafed wiring last night- Knees & hands full of thorns this morning.Expected attack on June 8th now, which is about end of Ramadan. We hear we get relieved after that, those that are left. Very hot & not much sleep.Very thankful for Victoria Racing Club gift of Tobacco Tucker etc. it helps the men at a critical time-Got to bury 8 horses now, killed by shells in our lines- mine are all OK still.
