29 May 1918 Wednesday (Whole page crossed out)Mrs Cath Fetherstonehough was very good to my wee wife in Port Said, & the latter has made some good friends Nowell called on her the other day- I do hope Joe uses anything of mine at home, that he can make use of- You will find Dolly a lovable little girl & altho' she has had a gay life content now with ME. I wrote old Johnny Waugh the other day just to let him know I'll be looking for a job!! ere long if all goes well. Usual Camp routine here, & all's well.
