salt lakes again this morning to wait for the Taube but he beat them again as he flew over so high in the air that he looked like a speck, our 'planes went up after him but could do no good; The Bedouin (Secret Service) who has proved such a good friend to us right through was sent up on the train today & we had to send a horse to Kilo 128 to meet him, he curled up by the orderly Room & is sleeping here tonight.

Our black friend left us at 6.30 this morning & made a bee line for El Arish received a cable from home today saying Jessie would arrive
