Wed 17th
Eleven lads from Details arrived today Tancred being amongst, he is looking well but has had a bad time of it; F.C.M.S. McSweeney went away today with septic sore they are very prevalent here; Ally Hargreaves also came back today & has his old job of Sig to C Squadron. Sturgeon had his place but was kicked on the knee by a horse a few days ago & sent away. Had no 'planes (enemy) over today 7 of ours went out loaded with bomb to pay them an early morning visit (a new style of Reveille).
