1915Sep.1 Wed.The Australian Intermediate Base is the main base of the A.I.F. & has a staff of about 250 men of which a large number are N.C.Os. Staff Pay Office, Int. Base Post Office, Ordnance Depot, & Records & Correspondence Depot, are all at the Intermediate Base –They must get through a tremendous amount of work.
