Thursday 6 April 1916Swim in morning.An issue of one blanket all round.Bayonet drill.Advance guard action in afternoon.
Friday 7 April 1916Church parade before breakfast.Took my turn as tent orderly.Had a small route march of about 8 miles.Was enoculated in afternoon then had a lecture from a Sergeant who had served in South Africa.
