Note Some of the writing in connection with canoesis extremely indistinct. What apears to be "outof grey gum" probably means grey gum bark.The "stick for ditto" probably means a stick, likea paddle, for propelling a canoe.Stick, (yam-boo-ra) is followed by two wordswhich I cannot decipher though one lookssomething like the word "holding". Probably"Stick for holding canoe". R.L.D
Mr Hewitt gives "gunyer", a bark shelter as "baggool"and the same word for a canoe. No doubt bothwere constructed of stringy bark. (Pages 12 and 13)
