That the following Regulations should be observed by the Provost and Moneyers in carrying on the Business.

1st ..... That they do attend at the Mint at such Times and in such manner as shall be directed by the principal Officers of the Mint, to receive and examine such Copper Tokens as shall be brought in by the Holders thereof, with whom a plan will be previously settled for selecting and bringing in the same.

The Quantity to be brought in by each person, to be not less than five Bags, each Bag to contain 3080 pieces, weighing 56 lbs Avoirdupoise.

2nd..... That no Tokens shall be received, but such as shall have been previously examined very carefully by the parties who shall bring the same, who shall certify that they are, according to the best of their Judgement, free from Counterfeits; that they are 3080 in Number, and will weigh on an Average 55 pieces to the pound Avoirdupoise; the Tokens after
