Sir will recollect Wards medicine [indecipherable] distillation of salt water you will find the medicines no longer efficatious  [indecipherable]  the apparatus of distillation: recollect if you can [indecipherable] secrets which the public have heard worth the purchase money they have given & do me the favor to [communicate?] them I will treasure them up in my memory as arguments in favor of Mr Souths invention about which in all likelyhood I shall be consulted whenever the applica[tion] to government is made

I have missd one side of my paper & leave room to inform you that I have written to Mr. South to inform him as respectfully as I was able the resolution I have made so necessary to my peace to offer him at the same time all kinds of assistance whenever the matter is no longer secret in the execution of his plan & to invite him to Soho Square if he wishes to confer with me in any matters which are not to be entrusted to my custom as secrets I advise him to apply to the public some one active minister is the road which I should advise him to take - your Friend who directed my last letter from you is able & active
